ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by M.V.MURALIDARAN, J.] Heard Mr.S.Doraisamy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.N.Parthasarathy, learned Government Advocate accepting notice for the respondent.
2. This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to issue community certificate to the petitioner's son viz., Minor Akilan.V that he belongs to “Kurumans (ST) Community” based upon the proceedings of the State Level Scrutiny Committee dated 05.09.2014.
3. In the accompanying affidavit of the Writ Petition, it is stated that the petitioner preferred an application to the State Level Scrutiny Committee requesting to verify his community certificate issued by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Krishnagiri, dated 09.07.1996; thereafter, the State Level Scrutiny Committee issued notice for enquiry and the petitioner duly appeared and thus, the State Level Scrutiny Committee, gave its finding on 05.09.2014, confirming the petitioner's Community Certificate as genuine and that he belongs to “Kurumans”(Scheduled Tribe) community.
4. Based on the above findings of the Committee, the petitioner preferred an application to the respondent on 02.07.2015 requesting to issue community certificate to his son Minor Akilan.V. As there was no orders passed by the respondent till date, the petitioner is now before this Court seeking a direction to the respondent to issue community certificate to his son.
5. In view of the community certificate issued by the RDO, Krishnagiri, that the petitioner belongs to “Kurumans” ST Community, has been verified and confirmed as genuine by the State Level Scrutiny Committee, the respondent is directed to issue community certificate to the petitioner's son, based on the findings arrived at by the Tamil Nadu State Level Scrutiny Committee Proceedings No.11950/CVIII/2003 dated 05.09.2014, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
No costs.
