JUDGMENT / ORDER

The Hon’ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy Writ Petition No.39038 of 2014 Dated 19.12.2014 Between:
G.Venkateswara Reddy and another …Petitioners And The State of Andhra Pradesh rep. by its Prl.Secretary, Revenue Department, Secretariat, Hyderabad and another.
…Respondents Counsel for the petitioners: Mr.G.Venkat Reddy Counsel for the respondents: AGP for Revenue The Court made the following:
Order:
This Writ Petition is filed with the grievance that respondent No.2 has not been entertaining the sale deeds sought to be presented by the petitioners for registration.
Mr.G.Venkat Reddy, learned Counsel for the petitioners, submitted that when the petitioners, who are the intending sellers, and the prospective purchasers have approached respondent No.2, he has informed them that as the house plots, sought to be sold by them, are part of the Government Lands, the same cannot be registered. The learned Counsel further submitted that though the petitioners have requested respondent No.2 to furnish the basis for terming their plots as the Government lands, he has not been furnishing the same.
Except the ipsi dixit of the petitioners, no material in support of their plea that they have approached respondent No.2 with a request to furnish the details has been filed. Therefore, I am not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition at this stage. The petitioners are permitted to issue a notice in writing to respondent No.2 for furnishing the basis for treating their plots as belonging to the Government. Within one week from the date of receipt of such notice, respondent No.2 shall furnish the details along with the material in support of his stand that the plots in question belong to the Government. If the petitioners feel aggrieved thereby, they shall be free to avail appropriate legal remedy.
Subject to the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
As a sequel to disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP.No.48931 of 2014, filed by the petitioners for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous.
