2. It is the case of the petitioners that on the basis of the complaint given by the wife of the first petitioner, the second respondent is frequently calling the petitioners to the police station and harassing them under the guise of enquiry. Hence, the petition.
3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, on instructions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that no such harassment was made by the second respondent police. Further, he has submitted that the presence of the petitioners 2 and 3 is not required by the second respondent police and the presence of the first petitioner alone is required by the second respondent police to complete the enquiry.
4. In view of the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the first petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent police on 28.2.2017 at 10.00 a.m., for completion of enquiry, on which date, the second respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry. The present criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
