(Order of the Court was made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH, J.) Alleging that the order passed by this Court dated 14.07.2016 in W.P.No.24168 of 2016 has not been complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed.
2. When this contempt petition was taken up, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has submitted that the order passed in the writ petition has been complied with. He has also filed an affidavit on behalf of the respondent, in which it is stated that an enquiry was conducted on 14.10.2016 at 5.00 p.m., and after verification of records and the field verification by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ooty, encroachments were found and thereafter, the same were ordered to be removed and by 13.11.2017, all the encroachments were removed. Thus, it is stated that the order passed by this Court in the writ petition has been complied with.
3. Recording the above, the contempt petition is closed.
