For Petitioner : Mr.I.Abraham For Respondents : Mr.C.Emalias Addl.Public Prosecutor ORDER The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to conduct proper investigation and file charge sheet in Crime No.153 of 2013, dated 18.8.2013, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Melpatti Police Station, Gudiyatham Taluk, Vellore District, immediately.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has lodged a complaint as against one Manivannan before the second respondent police and the same was registered in Crime No.153 of 2013. Though the said complaint was registered as early as in the year 2013, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.
3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.133 of 2013 pending on his file and file a final report, if not already filed, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
