JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 5th respondent to consider the appeal dated 01.02.2014, filed by him and pass appropriate orders within a time frame.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has filed an appeal before the 5th respondent as early as on 01.12.2014, the same has not been disposed of by the 5th respondent.
3. Mr.A.N.Thambi Durai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for respondents 1 and 3 to 5 submitted that the 5th respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal in accordance with law.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent submitted that no relief has been sought by the petitioner as against the 2nd respondent.
5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner and without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 5th respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 01.02.2014 and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
