The Commissioner, Tirunelveli Corporation, Tirunelveli. ....Respondents in W.P.No.27209 of 2014 Prayer: These Writ Petitions are filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Mandamus, (i) to direct the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Sanitary Inspector by transferring them to Municipal Services in respect of the vacancies for the years 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 in Municipal Services in pursuant to the proceedings of the second respondent in ROC.No.55020/2010/MCA 2 dated 15.09.2011 as per the Service Regulations in force as on the date of vacancy and by considering the petitioners qualified from 25.04.2009, with all consequential and other attendant benefits including arrears of salary with interest within a time frame(prayer in both WPs).
For Petitioners(in both Wps): Mr.G.Sankaran For Respondents( in both Wps): Mr.T.M.Pappiah, Spl.G.P.(RR1&2) Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, AGP for R3 &4 ORDER Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petitions and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
2.In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, these writ petitions are dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
