The grievance precisely in the present writ petition is non-payment of compensation by the respondents for the lands situated in Sy.No.264/2 at Cherlopally Village, Puttur Mandal, Chittoor District admeasuring Ac.4-00 gts belonging to the petitioner herein.

It is the case of the petitioner that the respondents herein took possession of the said land of the petitioner herein for the purpose of Galeru Nagari Srujana Shravanthi, Unit-II in the year 2008 and no compensation has been paid so far. As per the material available on record the petitioner herein also got issued a legal notice dated 23.06.2010, asking the respondents herein to pay the compensation amount before approaching this Court.
3. This Court, issued Rule Nisi as long back as on 16.07.2010, but unfortunately no counter affidavit has been filed so far. The petitioner herein cannot be asked to wait for eternity. Therefore, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition.
4. For the aforesaid reasons and having regard to the nature of controversy, writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents herein to initiate appropriate proceedings for payment of compensation to the petitioner herein in accordance with law for the lands situated in Sy.No.264/2 at Cherlopally Village, Puttur Mandal, Chittoor District admeasuring Ac.4-00 gts. This entire exercise including payment of compensation shall be completed within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any shall stand disposed of. No order as to costs.
