Patil, AGA) … Respondents This Writ Petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct respondent No.4 to consider the representation dated 16.07.2019 vide Annexure-A with immediate effect.
This Writ Petition coming on for Preliminary Hearing, this day, the Court made the following:-
ORDER Sri. Hanumanthappa B. Haravi Gowdar, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Sri. Vijay Kumar A. Patil, learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondents.
The petition is admitted for hearing. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the same is heard finally.
2. In this petition, the petitioner inter alia seeks for a direction to respondent No.4 to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 16.07.2019 vide Annexure-A.
3. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to Investigating Officer to conclude the investigation expeditiously.
4. On the other hand, learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondents submitted that the investigation shall be concluded as expeditiously as possible.
5. In view of the submissions made and in the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Investigating Officer to conclude the investigation expeditiously in accordance with law.
6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
