Pleader O R D E R Mr.S.V.Doraisolaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue joint patta to him and his siblings for the land in Survey Nos.124/2 and 124/3, measuring an extent of 2400 sq.ft at Sri Gayathri Nagar Colony, Extension-5, Panankotur Village, Chengalpattu Taluk, Kancheepuam District, based on his representation dated 03.09.2015, within a time frame.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 03.09.2015, the 2nd respondent has not issued the joint pata so far.
4. Mr.S.V.Doraisolaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 03.09.2015, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
5. Since the petitioner's representation is pending from 03.09.2015, I am of the view that the 2nd respondent should not have kept the representation for issuance of joint patta for nearly two years.
6. In these circumstances, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.09.2105, for the issuance of joint patta and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
