Govindaraj aged about 32 years confined at Central Prison, Salem and set him at liberty.

Habeas corpus petition is filed challenging the order of detention passed by the second respondent against the detenue – Gobi S/o. Govindaraj in C.M.P.No/61/Goonda/Salem City/2016 dated 09.08.2016.
2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the impugned order of detention has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.4664, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 28.09.2016. Copy of the said Government Order, submitted to this Court, shall form part of the record.
3. Recording the above, this habeas corpus petition is closed.
