JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present writ petition, seeking to direct the 3rd and 4th respondents, to return his original educational certificates namely, 1) SSLC Book, 2) “ Pulavar” Title, 3) Diploma in Pandit, 4) B.Lit. Degree, 5) B.Ed. Degree, 6) M.A Degree certificates and all other relevant certificates, within the time frame limit that may be fixed by this Court.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up, learned counsel appearing for the 4th respondent, produced a letter dated 19.01.2017 of the 4th respondent and submitted that a copy of the same has been communicated to the petitioner. The relevant portion of the letter is extracted below :-
“ Hence, it is requested that if requisition is made by your goodself for the grant of duplicate certificates the management would forward the same with necessary endorsements to the competent authorities namely the DPI and the relevant Universities in respect of certificates like SSLC Book, Diploma Certificate (Pulavar), Pandit Training, B.Lit. Degree, B.Ed Degree, M.A Degree for the grant of duplicate certificate as earliest.”
3. In the light of the above said letter, the petitioner undertakes to file a requisition to the 3rd respondent. Thereafter, within two weeks, the 4th respondent shall forward the same to the concerned authorities, as undertaken by him, in the aforesaid letter. As far as the SSLC Book is concerned, the 4th respondent shall forward the same to the 2nd respondent and on receipt of the same, the 2nd respondent shall consider and pass orders, within a period of eight weeks, thereto. The aforesaid letter dated 19.01.2017, shall form part of the records.
4. Recording the above submission of the learned counsel for the 4th respondent and the petitioner, and the letter dated 19.01.2017, the writ petition is disposed of, on the above terms. No costs.
