In this case, on the representation of the counsel on record that he revoked his vakalath, a notice was issued to the petitioner and the same was served on him and no representation was made on 01.10.2013 and the writ petition was directed to be posted on 08.10.2013 under the caption ‘for dismissal’ and when it was posted on 28.10.2013 there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Even today when the case is posted, none appeared for the petitioner.
2. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. Pending miscellaneous petitions in this writ petition, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence. No order as to costs.
