Ramesh Kumar No.11002/2017 COMMON ORDER The present criminal original petitions have been filed to call for the records in C.C.Nos.7064 of 2016 and 2706 of 2015 on the file of the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai and to quash the proceedings against the petitioners.
2. Today, when the matters were taken up for consideration, the petitioners and the second respondent appeared before this Court and their identities were got verified. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent / de facto complainant represented that the dispute between the parties was amicably settled and they have entered into compromise and the affidavit of undertaking for the same is enclosed in the typed set of papers. The contents of the affidavit, filed by the second respondent, is hereby accepted and the affidavit of undertaking shall form part of this order.
3. In view of the compromise entered into between the parties and also the averments made in the affidavit filed by the second respondent, the proceedings in C.C.Nos.7064 of 2016 and 2706 of 2015, pending on the file of V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, as against the petitioners are quashed and the criminal original petitions are allowed.
