Heard Sri Raj Narayan Tiwari, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Naushad Siddiqui, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State respondents.
The present petition has been filed principally seeking to assail the order dated 06.12.2019 passed by the respondent no. 1 in terms of which the petitioner, who is working as a Survey Lekhpal, has been directed to be attached to District Shamli instead of District Gautam Budh Nagar.
Counsel for the petitioner has not disputed the fact that the petitioner holds a transferable post and that the authority passing the order is fully empowered to pass the order.
Transfer being an exigency of service and the order of attachment having been made in a nearby district, the said order cannot be said to be suffering from any illegality so as to warrant inference.
No other point has been urged.
The writ petition lacks merit and is accordingly dismissed.
