1. Upon instruction, learned Standing Counsel states that certain reports are still awaited, and therefore, the application filed by the petitioner for grant of fire arm license on 20.06.2018 has remained pending.
2. Without entering the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with the direction to the District Collector Prayagraj, District-Prayagraj to decide the aforesaid application, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months, from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
