JUDGMENT / ORDER

Essentially, this writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus commanding the first respondent to demolish certain alleged illegal construction effected by respondents 2 and 3. The contention of the petitioner is that respondents 2 and 3 have effected construction without obtaining permit from the first respondent. The petitioner who is to argue the matter in person was not present when the matter was taken up for consideration on 18.6.2014. Even when the matter is taken up for consideration today, he has not turned up to argue the matter. In such circumstances, this writ petition is dismissed for default.
