This contempt case has been filed alleging willful disobedience with the directions in the judgment dated 5.11.2013 in W.P.(C)No.23879 of 2013. As per the said judgment a direction was issued to finalise Ext.P7 Provisional Seniority List. When this matter is taken up for consideration today, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents handed over a copy of order bearing No.KWA/JB/E.5/8637/2013 dated 5.12.2014. A perusal of the same would reveal that the Provisional Seniority List in question has been finalised and published on 1.12.2013. In the representation the petitioner had also sought for revision of the duties of the Operator. The said question was also considered and it was found that as per the Duties of Employees Regulation 1999 responsibilities of Operator and Head Operator are one and the same and therefore, the said request was declined. Thus it is obvious that the respondents have complied with the directions in the Judgment. In the said circumstances, recording the said fact this contempt case is closed. In case the petitioners are aggrieved by the finalisation of the list it will be open to them to work out their remedies, in accordance with law. TKS Sd/-
