THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER In this petition the petitioner is seeking for a mandamus directing the respondent not to confirm the sale of the petitioner’s property bearing plot No.7-D1 situated at Karur Industrial Area, Karur Village, Davanagere measuring 510 sqm., in favour of any third party. And to give opportunity to the petitioner to settle the entire outstanding amount due on one-time settlement basis.
2. Accordingly, the writ petitions are disposed of with a direction that in case the petitioners submit the representation under ‘One Time Settlement’ scheme, the competent authority shall consider and decide the same by a speaking order within a period of four months from the date of receipt of such a representation. It made clear that this court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
