Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.G.A. for the State.
The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioners, praying for quashing of the First Information Report dated 25.07.2021 registered as Case Crime No. 0129 of 2021 under Sections 363, 366, 120-B I.P.C. and 3 (2) (v) S.C./S.T.
(Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, police station Sarpataha, District Jaunpur and with a further prayer to stay their arrest during pendency of investigation of the said case.
The specific case in the F.I.R. is that minor daughter of the first informant was abducted by Ratnesh Kumar Bind son of Ashok Kumar. He was helped by the petitioners in abducting the minor girl.
The petitioners claim that they have no concern with the alleged incident.
This Court in exercise of writ jurisdiction is not in a position to decide the said question as it is a matter of investigation. The petition lacks merit and is dismissed.
