An order of suspension dated 22dn June 2018 along with its continuance is challenged in this petition. The order of suspension records that on the highway, the driver of S.D.M. and certain security personnels were extorting money from truck operators.
It is not in issue that a charge sheet has been served upon petitioner, to which a reply has also been submitted.
Considering the nature of charge levelled against the petitioner and that the charge sheet has also been submitted against the petitioner, no case for interference under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is made out.
It is, however, provided that disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner shall be concluded by disciplinary authority, within a period of two months from the date of presentation of copy of this order.
With the aforesaid observations, this petition is consigned to records.
