This Criminal Petition is filed to quash FIR in Crime No. 87 of 2012 of Adilabad I-Town Police Station for offences under section 323, 506 read with section 149 IPC and section 3 (1) (x) of SCs/STs [POA] Act, 1989.
2. Heard both sides.
3. Learned Public Prosecutor submitted as per information received from Assistant Superintendent of Police, Adilabad, police have completed investigation and filed charge sheet in this case on 03/9/2012 and the same was registered as Spl.SC.No. 47 of 2012 and the said case ended in acquittal after trial.
4. I have perused the affidavit of Assistant Superintendent of Police, Adilabad, according to which trial court after examining PWs 2 to 5 acquitted the accused on 07/8/2013, as the witnesses have not supported prosecution case.
5. Recording the submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed, as infructuous.
