Heard learned counsel for the parties.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"() issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondent No. 2 to decide the Case No. 1862 of 2017 (Computerized No.C201705001862) (Smt. Harlali Versus Darshan and others), under Section 229B of U.P.Z.A. and L.R. Act, 1950 which is pending before the Additional Commissioner (Judicial) (First), Gorakhpur Division, Gorakhpur/respondent No.2, within stipulated period."
It has been submitted that the appeal against the judgment and decree in the suit under Section 229B of the U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act is pending consideration since the year 2017.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to decide the pending appeal as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of five months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him provided there is no legal impediment in final decision of the appeal.
