Heard Sri Jitendra Yadav, counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing counsel.
By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent Consolidation Officer, Tahabarpur, District Azamgarh to decide the case filed by the petitioners whereby the objection filed by petitioner nos. 1 and 2 under Section 20 of the U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act were pending.
Contention of the learned counsel for petitioner is that such objections were filed on 29.6.2017 till date objections were not registered. The order-sheet of the objection pending before Consolidation Officer is appended as annexure no. 2 to the writ petition.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, direction is issued upon the respondent Consolidation Officer, Tahabarpur, District Azamgarh to decide the objection filed by petitioner nos. 1 and 2 under Section 20 of the U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
With the above direction, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to costs.
