Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Ziya Naaz Zaidi, learned State Law Officer for the State respondents.
Petitioner is before this Court with the request to ask the Commissioner, Basti Mandal, Basti to decide the Appeal no.C-20171700519 (Fatima vs. Sub Divisional Magistrate and others) expeditiously.
Learned Standing Counsel very fairly submits that in case any such appeal is still pending, the same shall be considered and decided by the Authority concerned expeditiously.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending. The writ petition, on consent, is disposed of with the direction to the Commissioner, Basti Mandal, Basti to decide the aforesaid appeal so filed by the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order but certainly after providing ample opportunity of hearing to all the stake holders in the matter.
