Heard learned counsel for the petitioner; learned A.G.A. for respondents 1 and 2; and perused the record.
The instant petition seeks quashing of the First Information Report dated 20.10.2018 registered as Case Crime No. 0681 of 2018, under Sections 504, 147, 148, 149, 452, 323, 354, 380, 506 I.P.C., at Police Station - Kotwali, District - Shahjahanpur.
The impugned First Information Report alleges that accused persons including the petitioner assaulted the informant as well as his sister and they suffered injuries and have submitted themselves for medical examination.
As the allegations disclose commission of cognizable offence, no case to quash the First Information Report is made out The defence of the petitioner that he has been falsely implicated is not to be considered at this stage. The petition is dismissed.
