Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A. G. A. for the State.
Applicant has moved the present first bail application seeking bail in Case Crime No. 88 of 2018 under Section 302 of I.P.C., Police Station Qila, District Bareilly.
Applicant has been named in the first information report and who happens to be son-in-law of the deceased. Eye witness account is present. We have gone into the statement of Master Arfan who happens to be the son of the present applicant and as per the postmortem report, the deceased has received as many as sixteen injuries.
Looking to the seriousness of the allegation as made in the FIR, gravity of offence and the severity of punishment, no case for grant of any indulgence is made out.
Accordingly, the application for bail is rejected at this stage.
