JUDGMENT / ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is to prohibit the respondents 1 to 4 from erecting electricity poles in the road situated in S.No.317/B measuring about 30 ft., width and 300 ft., length as well as the respondents 5 and 6 from laying pipelines for water supply to private parties through this private road situated in S.No.317/B and safeguard the road of the public temple in question.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 produced a letter dated 02.05.2017 signed by the Assistant Engineer Operation and Maintenance, Mettupalayam, Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Company Limited, stating as follows:
As per WP No: 33359/2002, the Executive Officer, Nattrayaswamy Temple prior to erect electricity poles in road situated in S.No. 317/B measuring about 30 feet width and 300 ft length for effect the EB supply to Nattrayaswamy temple shop. But service effected in the above Nattrayaswamy koil shop is 03 094 002 490. This is for favour of further action please.
3. In view of the above letter, no further consideration is required in this writ petition and accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
