1. Heard Sri Chandan Agarwal, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Kunal Ravi Singh, learned counsel for the respondent nos.1 and 2.
2. Petitioner's application for recall of the order dated 05.01.2018 filed on 14.05.2018 is stated to be pending before the respondent no.2 - State Information Commissioner, UPSIC, Lucknow. In the meanwhile, recovery proceedings have been instituted arising from the order dated 05.01.2018.
3. In such circumstances, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the present writ petition pending any further or calling for counter affidavit. It is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2 to hear and decide the petitioner's recall application strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from today.
4. For a period of two months or till disposal of the recall application, whichever is earlier, recovery proceedings initiated against the petitioner may be kept in abeyance.
