Petitioner has rushed to this Court contending therein that his services have been dispensed with by the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Bareilly Range Bareilly vide order dated 06.04.2009 by exercising authority vested under Rule 8(2)(b) of U.P. Police Officers of Subordinate Ranks (Punishment and Appeal) Rules 1991. Petitioner has contended that he is not questioning the validity of aforesaid order and the fact of the matter is that he has acquiesced to this order. Petitioner's limited submission is that he has served the department concern for nearly about 29 years and there are various dues which are still unpaid and same requires to be paid to him. Petitioner submits that he has been repeatedly representing the matter but on the said front no remedial measure has been taken by the authority concerned.
Consequently, in the facts of the case, in case petitioner is legitimately entitled for any dues in lieu of putting service for 29 years, as claimed by him then in that event Deputy Inspector General of Police, Bareilly Range Bareilly is directed to consider the request of the petitioner in accordance with law preferable within two months from the date of presentation of certified copy of the order passed by this Court.
With the above direction present writ petition is disposed of.
