[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] The present Contempt Petition has been filed alleging non-compliance of the order passed by this Court dated 15.11.2016, made in W.A.(MD)No.1354 of 2015.
2. This Court, by judgment dated 15.11.2016, while allowing the Writ Appeal filed by the respondents herein, directed the respondents to consider the request made by the petitioner for transfer from Ooty and accommodate him either at Trichy or nearby place and further directed to carry out the said exercise within a period of six weeks. Since the said order has not been complied with, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.
3. Today, when the Contempt Petition was taken up for consideration, the learned Special Government Pleader has produced a copy of the transfer order dated 09.02.2017 stating that originally the petitioner was posted at Madurai City and he was relieved from Nilgiris District on medical leave on 23.12.2016 A.N., but, he has not yet reported at Madurai City. In the meanwhile, the petitioner has filed the present Contempt Petition. However, now, after filing the Contempt Petition, considering his health condition, he is transferred to Central Zone and he is instructed to join immediately at Central Zone without fail.
4. In view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, the Contempt Petition is closed as nothing survives for adjudication. Consequently, the connected Sub Application is closed.
