The above writ petition has been filed seeking reinstatement as directed by the award of the Labour Court as also for recovery of the amounts as directed in the petition filed under Section 33 (C)(2) of the Industrial Tribunal Act, (for short the I.D Act). After the filing of the writ petition, it is seen that the District Labour Officer, Pathanamthitta, who is not a party herein has initiated steps by issuing a show cause notice under the ID Act and the Rules framed thereunder, dated 05.08.2014. The petitioner would also have to take appropriate proceedings for getting reinstatement. The writ petition would stand closed leaving open the remedies available to the petitioner. Sd/-
