ORDER (Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct the respondents to transfer Veerabhaarathi, aged 46 years, son of Ponniah, bearing life conviction No.3334 from Palayamkottai Central Prison to Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai.
2. It is represented on the side of the respondents that the prisoner, by name, Veerabhaarathi, son of Ponniah, has already been transferred from Central Prison Palayamkottai to Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, and to that effect, an order has been passed on 25.7.2017.
3. Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous.
In fine, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed.
