The petitioner is a retired employee of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation ('KSRTC' for short). He retired from service as a District Transport Officer on 30.09.2000. The petitioner was paid his Commuted Value of Pension during 2001. Therefore, 1/3rd portion of his monthly pension was reduced for 12 years. The petitioner has therefore, submitted Ext.P2 representation to the 1st respondent. He has seeks the issue of appropriate directions for the consideration of Ext.P2. Adv.Sri.Babu Joseph Kuruvathazha appears for the respondents.

Since Ext.P2 is pending consideration of the 1st respondent, this writ petition is disposed of directing the said respondent to consider Ext.P2 in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of six weeks of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
