ORDER:
This contempt case is filed alleging willful disobedience of order dated 10.10.2013 in W.P.No.29428 of 2013.
The respondent filed a counter-affidavit, wherein he has averred that his predecessor in office has passed an appropriate order on the day on which he has taken charge and that an inadvertent mistake has occurred in the said order by way of reference to G.O.Ms.No.581, Revenue (Registration Dept.I) dated 04.05.2005. He has further stated that even de hors the said G.O., the rejection of the petitioner’s application for issue of Zeroyiti certificate is in accordance with law.
Though there is delay in implementation of the order of this Court, as rightly submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court does not intend to punish the persons responsible for the same, in view of the explanation offered by the respondent. If the petitioner feels aggrieved by the order dated 05.07.2014, she is entitled to avail appropriate remedy in order to question the same.
Subject to the liberty given to the petitioner as stated above, the contempt case is closed.
