This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to include the charges under Sections 109 and 307 IPC as against the accused in FIR No.253 of 2016 dated 18.05.2016 pending on his file.

2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in the case in Crime No.253 of 2016, investigation was completed and draft charge sheet is also made ready, for the offences under sections 294(b), 352 and 307 IPC.
3. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. Hence, recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered, with a direction to the respondent police to file the charge sheet as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
