This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking transfer of OP No.336/2014 pending before the Family Court, Kottayam to the Family Court, Chavara. 2. Suffice to say that the marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent became bitter and that gave rise to the litigations. Couple have a child in the wedlock. The respondent is alleged to have filed OP No.336/2014 before the Family Court, Kottayam.
3. The petitioner points out that she is residing at Chavara and she finds it extremely difficult to go over to Kottayam to attend the posting of the case and she has nobody to accompany her. It is also submitted that she has to look after her minor child and also she is facing financial difficulties. She therefore, prays that the matter -2-
Tr.P.(C). No. 325 of 2014 may be transferred to the Family Court, Chavara so as to enable her to promptly attend the posting of the case and defend the same.
4. Even though notice was served on the respondent, there is no appearance on his behalf.
Considering all the aspects, this petition is allowed. OP No. 336/2014 pending before the Family Court, Kottayam is transferred to the Family Court, Chavara.
