The husband has filed OP(Div) No. 1143/2013 on the file of the Family Court, Mavelikkara for divorce. The wife staying with her parents at Pathanamthitta seeks a transfer of the marital dispute.
2. It is a virtual impossibility for the wife to travel all the way from Pathanamthitta to Mavelikkara for the conduct of the case. This is especially so since she has to look after the two children born in the wedlock.
3. It may only be a slight inconvenience for the husband to travel from Mavelikkara to Pathanamthitta. I therefore order transfer of OP(Div) No. 1143/2013 from the Family Court, Mavelikkara to the Family Court, Pathanamthitta. The transferee court shall issue notice to the parties and take the proceedings to a logical end.
The Transfer Petition is disposed of.
