The petitioners are residents of Ward No.68 of the third respondent Corporation. They complain of water logging in the area. Though the third respondent has renovated a canal, the petitioners allege that the water logging has only increased. According to them, it is because of the unscientific manner in which the work was conducted. The petitioners have therefore submitted Ext.P3 representation which is pending before the third respondent. They seek the issue of appropriate directions for the consideration thereof. They also seek an opportunity to produce materials to support their contentions. 2. In view of the limited relief sought for, I am satisfied that the said relief can be granted.
This writ petition is therefore, disposed of, directing the third respondent to consider Ext.P3 representation submitted by the petitioners and others in accordance with law, to permit them W.P.(C).No.7237 of 2014 2 to produce additional materials or evidence and to pass final orders thereon, after affording an opportunity of being heard to their representatives as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
