(Judgment of the Court was delivered by V.RAMASUBRAMANIAN,J.) This writ appeal has been filed against the order passed by the learned Judge in a Writ Petition merely directing the appellants to consider the grievances of the writ petitioner on merits and to pass appropriate orders.
2. Heard Mr.R.Janakiramulu, learned Special Government Pleader for the appellants.
3. The operative portion of the order of the learned Judge, which is under appeal reads as follows:
"3. Considering the above facts and circumstances, I direct the second respondent to consider the grievances of the petitioner dated 18.12.2008 on merits and in accordance with law in the light of the Full Bench decision of this Court reported in 2006(5) CTC 385 (Director of Elementary Education, Chennai -6 and others V. S.Vigila, 3/127, Church Street, Meignanapuram, Thiruchendur Taluk, Thoothukudi District and another). The said exercise has to be carried out by the second respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order".
4. As seen from the operative portion extracted above, the learned Judge has not gone into the merits of the case, but has merely directed the respondents to consider the case of the writ petitioner on merits and in accordance with law in the light of the decision of this Court. Therefore there is virtually no ground for the appellants to be aggrieved by such an order. Hence, this Writ Appeal is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
