Petitioner has approached this Court complaining about the seizure of his vehicle bearing No.KL-7-BE-4866. Police had seized the vehicle alleging violation of the provisions of the Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land Act, 2008. Petitioner had filed a representation before the 2nd respondent as Ext.P5 for releasing the vehicle.
2. Perusal of Ext.P5 would indicate that the same is only dated 24/05/2014 and there is no material to indicate that it has been served on the 2nd respondent. Such practice of approaching this Court, after filing a representation a few days before, is to be deprecated and I do so.
However, taking into consideration the fact that the 2nd respondent has to pass appropriate orders on Ext.P5, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass W.P.C.No.13484/2014 2 appropriate orders on Ext.P5 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
This writ petition is disposed of as above.
