It is stated that petitioner?s claim for grant of scholarship under the scheme has been erroneously rejected on the ground that there is a difference in the role number allotted to petitioner in the name. Submission is that her role number is 717787, whereas in the certificate issued for intermediate examination, zero has been added before the role number to make it 0717787. Contention is that there is no difference in the role number, and the ground of rejection is perverse.

Learned Standing Counsel may obtain instructions from respondent No.3 as to whether the aforesaid contention is correct.
