This petitioner is before this Court, seeking a direction to the respondents 1 & 2 to admit him in the third respondent society and to allow him to participate in the forthcoming election, by considering his representation dated 07.09.2012.

3. This Court is of the considered view that nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition, since the so called election is for a particular period, which itself is over by this time.
4. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
