Petitioner approached this Court on account of non acceptance of land tax from the petitioner in respect of the land held in tandaper Nos.7182 and 8614 in resurvey block No.20 on account of the fact that the petitioner has effected changes in the property in contraventions of the Kerala Land Utilization Order, 1967 and Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wet Land Act, 2008.

If the petitioner's contravend provisions of the Kerala Land Utilization Order, 1967 and Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wet Land Act, 2008, authorities are free to take appropriate action against the petitioner. However, that does not stand in the way of acceptance of land tax from the petitioner. If there is no other reason, land tax shall be accepted from the petitioner without further delay.
The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
