JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court complaining about the inaction on the part of the first respondent in not issuing P forms for transporting red earth removed from his quarry. Ext.P1 is the quarrying permit. Ext.P2 is the application submitted by the petitioner. In fact as per the relevant procedure, the first respondent will have to consider the application after ascertaining the quantity of red earth, and thereafter issue necessary P forms. In these circumstance, the writ petition is disposed of as under.
The first respondent is directed to consider Ext.P2 and pass appropriate orders after complying with the procedure prescribed, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. It is made clear that for removing red earth from quarry site, there W.P.C.No.14230 OF 2014 2 is no necessity for obtaining the No Objection Certificate from the District Collector or clearance from the State Environmental Impact Assessment Authority.
