JUDGMENT / ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to inaugurate the new building of Sports Development Authorities Sports Students Hostel situates in Tharuvai Ground, Thoothukudi, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.
2.It is averred in the petition that the petitioner is a resident of Thoothukudi, wherein the building mentioned in the petition has been constructed and being kept for a long time without conducting inauguration. Under the said circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed for getting the relief sought therein.
3.Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents 1 to 4.
4.It is seen from the records that the building in question is fit for inauguration. Since the building in question is fit for inauguration, this Court is of the view to direct the fourth respondent to inaugurate the same as indicated below.
5.In fine, this writ petition is allowed without costs and the fourth respondent viz., District Collector, Thoothukudi District is directed to inaugurate the building mentioned in the petition within a period of fifteen days.
