Judgment: (per the Hon’ble the Chief Justice Sri Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta) Mr. Vedula Venkataramana, learned counsel informs the Court that when he was not designated as Senior Advocate, he had filed vakalat to appear on behalf of the appellant. However, subsequently, he has given no objection on the prayer made by the appellant. It is also informed that this no objection has been given some time back.
In that view of the matter, we record this information and grant leave to Mr. Vedula Venkataramana to retire.
No one appeared for the appeared for the appellant. It is an old matter of the year 2004. Hence, the matter is dismissed for default. The appearance of the learned counsel for the 4th respondent and also State is noted.
Consequently, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall also stand dismissed. No costs.
