… Respondents THE HON’BLE SHRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.16867 OF 2004 O R D E R The grievance of the petitioner in this case was with regard to the alleged inaction of the authorities of the Survey and Land Records Department in Ranga Reddy District in conducting a survey and demarcating the boundaries of his agricultural land in Sy.No.186 of Vattinagulapalli Village, Rajendranagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. It appears that the petitioner made a representation in this regard on 15.03.2004. However, when his petition for interim relief by way of a direction to the respondent authorities to consider the said representation came up for hearing on 10.06.2008, the same was dismissed on the ground that the prayer therein was identical to that in the main writ petition.
Despite the passage of a decade, no counter-affidavit has been filed by the respondent authorities. Further, it is likely that the grievance of the petitioner dating back to over a decade ago may not still survive for consideration.
In that view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of leaving it open to the petitioner to make a fresh representation for survey of his land in accordance with law in the event the cause of action still survives for seeking such relief. In the event he does so, the authorities concerned shall take necessary action in accordance with law. Pending Miscellaneous Applications shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
