On 24.09.2014, when the matter was listed, it was represented by the learned counsel on record that the sole petitioner passed away and the learned counsel sought time to take steps to bring L.Rs on record. Subsequently, when the matter was listed on 08.10.2014, none appeared for the petitioner, as such, this Court directed the matter to be listed under the caption ‘for orders’. Subsequently, on 15.10.2014, when the matter was once again posted, there was no representation for the petitioner, as such, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption ‘for dismissal’.
Even today, when the matter was called in the pre-lunch session, none appeared, as such, this Court passed over the matter and even in the post-lunch session now none appears for the petitioner. This indicates that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the writ petition.
For the aforesaid reasons, writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
