JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider his representation dated 02.03.2017 seeking demarcation, sub-division of property situated in Anjur Village, Chengalpattu Taluk bearing Survey No.264/1A, New Survey No.415/7 admeasuring to an extent of 5450 sq.ft. and to issue a separate patta in his name.
2. Mr.A.N.Thambi Durai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law.
3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.03.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
